Kansas West Annual Conference formalizes ties to Zimbabwe East

Members of the 2010 Kansas West Annual Conference adopted resolutions to enter into a covenant with the Zimbabwe East Annual Conference and to establish a conference advance special to fund expenses for the partnership. (Click here to read about this exciting partnership)

Dangamvura East Circuit of the United Methodist Church

Zimbabwe Episcopal Communications Initiative:

Vision:

Enable a broadband communications infrastructure throughout the Zimbabwe Episcopal Area that will provide reliable high speed communications capabilities linking all Methodist hospitals, clinics, schools and church leadership offices. Zimbabwe Episcopal HIV and AIDS Programs

The United Methodist Church in Zimbabwe, at its annual conference, resolved that the church should seriously address the HIV/AIDS issue by developing a policy and action plan to guide the church in its mission to combat against the spread of the disease and mitigate the plight of those affected. Click here to read the UMC Zimbabwe HIV/AIDS Coordinator's report.
